YOU DON'T HAVE TO TURN ON THAT RED LIGHT

Hey all!

Just a little bit more concept work for the eventual Amsterdam comedy. Let me know what you think. Any word suggestions for signs?? I hit the standard, or should I say, obvious ones, but I think there is some room for creativity.

Thanks for checking in!

XXXY an amsterdam comedy COMING EVENTUALLY

I've been doing a little bit of concept work for this idea that I can't get out of my head. I don't want to reveal too much at the moment, but it's gonna be awesome. Once I get some more spare time I will really be developing the idea.

PROGRESS

The first shot of Rain Dance is well on its way. We had to jump the gun on this one to get a test composite together. I will polishing it up later on, but for now we are on a fast track with layouts. Stay tuned

Rain Dance

I will be working with my great friend and unbelievable genius artist, Nate Swinehart on his graduate thesis film, Rain Dance (this is a link to the animatic, it's unfreakingbelievable). The film is an absolute treat. and I am just honored to be a part of it.

I will be doing the color script and layouts, and possible a wee bit of animation. It's gonna be awesome!!

This is just a little teaser. Enjoy!

and I've been conceptualizing more on my Amsterdam story that I keep jumping back and forth to.

I hope you enjoy.

Life Drawing

Always an important thing to do. :)

Maverick Stone redesign

For some weird reason I wanted to redesign Maverick and make him short and fatter. I had a lot of fun recreating him. These are just a few drawings and a sculpey model I did of him. Ill will have to create a post with some more final drawings and all of the sketches that lead to the final result. He went through quite a few changes and I must say, I am much more satisfied with this result. Maybe I will even get around to doing some final animation with the guy.

I hope you all enjoy, "life's a garden dig it"-jd
